#Scheduled to Be Out iN Mid September
The low-cost iPhone 5 that has been rumored for several months may be about to emerge. There are many reports that the company has needed to develop a lower budget solution so that they can keep their brand competitive on the market of smartphones for those who have a lower income. The older generations of the iPhone that filled the market simply are not fulfilling this need. There is no question that the iPhone5 is not a suitable option for lower end mass production, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has developed an iPhone with a plastic back for only $99. There were photos leaked online that have shown the name of this low budget phone will be the iPhone C.
The photo that was leaked provides an image of the iPhone C with the logo printed on the back. There have been predictions by DigitalSpay that state the “C” will likely refer to the options of colors that are available for the plastic backing, including blue, white, yellow, green and red. The original photo was put on the Chinese website WeiPhone. The plastic packaging that the phone is being offered in is not how Apple traditionally packages their phone. In most cases it comes with a cardboard box; however the lower budget is complemented by the plastic packaging. The production has not gotten to the stage where a front packaging option is needed. If the front of the packaging is clear the cases will provide visibility of the phone to show off the color of the plastic case that the phone is being offered in.
